The book holds his real life experiences in handling cancer patients. The details are compiled in such a way that they cover all aspects of dealing with the disease from a patient’s standpoint, a surgeon’s perspective, a family member’s perspective and you must believe me when i tell you it also involves a pet parent’s perspective. In 230 pages he has imparted so much wisdom that shall greatly benefit any young doctor who is getting started with his/her practice. Not necessarily oral md maxillofacial surgeons alone. Having spent very little time with senior surgeons while they share their practical experiences I greatly enjoyed the time I spent reading it as the book gave me a feeling of being an assistant shadowing him through all those happenings, such descriptive writing.
