Booking a ticket to dreamland🧚🏻‍♀️

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccay8KCBeF2/?igsh=MXN0YXJhZ2Rjdjl5dQ   Someone sent me a message in response to a social media post that I made saying “ you will become a book someday “. I had immediately started dreaming of such a wonderful life. How nice it would be to be a book. To become a book. In a way it is similar to what I do now. I repeat what is already proven, written, found, told, tested, done and said. Well, most of the time. This most of the time when I follow what is already given in literature is when I am at work. We practice something called “evidence based “ dentistry and that’s what I teach too. However just like my written work I cannot repeat anything in the same format in vocal format too. I do repeat definitions, findings and formulae however the order of repetition or the patterns vary. This is based on the listeners whom I have at that particular moment. The same topic or the same demonstration that I do varies when I tell it even to two consecutive ba...

Family Pack - Movie Review

Family Pack is a package of comedy, fantasy, science fiction, action, fun and heartfelt emotions. Its slow. The way it blends in all the scenes together makes one remember what one forgot in  the previous scenes. It’s heartwarming though. A family entertainment definitely. A good movie to watch with kids. They might learn a few new things from the film. A good one to watch during the weekend. While struck in traffic. While going on a road trip. Because you can pause come back and watch and they will remind you everything you forgot from before the break in the next scene.

Outer Banks - Series Review

Outer banks is a wonderful show. The story line is complete with the right amount of all emotions. The characters are rich and evolving. How even when the character tends to grow and get modified it still holds its basic essence is cute. The locations and the shots are beautiful. How the story keeps you interested with the introduction of a new element is seamless. How some characters act so mature in certain circumstances makes one reflect on how circumstances and environment play a major role in the development of each individual. If you love plot twists it's a must watch. New season has just dropped on Netflix. Enjoy.

Existence and Extinction

Being pretty or considered holy has its own advantages. The prettiest things get picked. The holiness attached gives an advantage over something that isn’t considered holy. For instance if you are the prettiest pup in the litter, you get picked by someone before your siblings. Is that what the prettiest pup desires is one question that must be asked and we shall discuss that another time. Similarly if you are a picture of a deity as opposed to the monthly wall calendar hanging next to you, the sweeper tends to not use the same broomstick to wipe across you but uses a relatively dirty rug instead. Life is longer too since you will be held on to well beyond the required duration like the satin ribbon from a gift being safely stored in the drawer even after the gift is unwrapped and used. With the passing of time and evolution of thought and beauty standards the things that were once considered beautiful or holy get diluted or entirely taken off the list. Considering the many disad...

The Beauty You See in Me is a Reflection of You

Colours are what make modern day life more interesting. I have most of my life had to travel a long way to my place of study. Those long hours on the road were made more interesting by the changing scenery in tune with the changing seasons. My mom used to drive me to college when I was doing my under graduation and I drove my car during my post graduation. Lucky for me the roads were not as urbanised as they are today giving me ample spots of changing flora to gaze upon. The spots were never missed. Partly because they were the spots where traffic or the curvature on the road force me to look at and partly because they were a feast and even in rush hour traffic my eyes would still roll in those directions to steal a glance. Some of them were man made to make the place more beautiful and some of them were random wild creepers taking over a long forgotten large tree by the side of the road. These plants would showcase their beautiful dress ups according to the seasons in all their...

The Blurred Line between Progress and Regress

Talking is one of our chief means of communication. However only 70000 years ago did humans start talking. We can easily communicate with 70 dB but modern people are attracted to loud sounds. They enjoy going to movie theatres equipped with the best and latest speakers to enjoy the sound effects, install home theatres with speakers in a dedicated room, go to pubs and music concerts to immerse themselves in sounds and sound effects. They enjoy vibing as such. This is a form of recreation for them. Having worked in front of a computer for a week finding something that drowns their senses to help relax and rewind is quite understandable. Music and movies have a pattern. The sounds that are repeated are in tune and so they help align ones senses. They give pleasure to the listener and the musician. Instrumental music is easier to get used to and fall in love with. If it is a person who sings or talks it takes a few more features to be pleasant and enjoyable for a majority of people. ...

The Underbelly of Humanity

Kenya has decided to kill a million Indian crows by the end of the year. They have carefully chosen to use Starlicide which will kill the crow slowly over a period of 24 hours and also get degraded during the same time so that the carcass doesn’t stay poisonous. This decision was taken stating how the crows were staying on top of the food chain there so their numbers are growing exponentially and how they are feasting on Kenya’s native birds, destroying their nests and eggs and the potential possibility of these crows moving onto Nairobi National park area where hundreds of special species of birds are being cared for. The government is passing special bills, allotting great amounts of funding to import this particular poison in huge amounts to buy cages and to kill the crows. Slowly over a period of 12 hours in captivity. A million of them within a year’s time.   Have you ever heard of or seen a crow’s death. If you heard or saw a group of crows easily over fifty in number...
